Biography
Based in Nantes, France, Eskat is a graffiti artist whose work spans lettering, characters and large-scale wall compositions. A member of the 3GCartel, IBS and Range Ta Chambre (RTC) crews, he has been shaping walls since the mid-2000s, carving out a distinctive presence in the French urban art landscape.
His practice extends beyond France's borders, with notable interventions in Mexico. In 2016, a joint exhibition with fellow artist Korsé at the Mékano venue showcased paintings, sculptural works and installations — revealing a creative scope that reaches well past aerosol on concrete.
Rooted in Nantes' thriving street art community, the artist moves fluidly between graffiti, muralism and illustration. His output reflects both the energy of his home city's urban scene and the cross-cultural influences gathered through his international projects.
