Biography
Starting out in Tours in 2004, Moner honed his craft with the Virtual Times crew before relocating to Nantes in 2009 in search of a more vibrant graffiti scene. There he joined forces with Cartel 29, Hell Street Boys and Out Of Control, developing a style rooted in classic wildstyle enriched by science fiction imagery and Japanese print aesthetics.
The early 2010s marked a string of landmark projects: the "Faire le Mur" exhibition at Le Lieu Unique in 2011, the "Over The Wall" event during Voyage à Nantes in 2012, and the international Teenage Kicks festival in Rennes in 2013. That same year, the artist began fusing painting with three-dimensional elements, culminating in a walkable public installation on Place du Bouffay.
Equally at ease with stripped-back chrome lettering and elaborate compositions blending characters, typography and bold colour, Moner resists creative boundaries. His work has taken him as far as Hong Kong, sustaining a practice where technical precision and formal experimentation remain in constant dialogue.
