Biography
Dotsy is a Swedish artist based in Amsterdam whose work sits at the intersection of graffiti and muralism. Linked to the Omatiks collective and the d-brains project, he populates walls with rounded dogs and robots rendered in spray paint — a playful cast of characters that has become his visual signature across multiple countries.
In Sweden, the artist left a notable mark on the Snösätra Graffiti Wall of Fame, Europe's largest legal graffiti exhibition on the outskirts of Stockholm. An advocate for the site's preservation before its demolition in 2020, he also painted extensively in Umeå and across northern Sweden, maintaining deep ties to the Scandinavian urban art scene.
From his Amsterdam base, Dotsy has carried his practice to Barcelona, Brussels and Santiago de Chile. His output — colourful murals anchored by recurring characters — builds a visual language that is both accessible and distinctly personal, shaped by each new city he encounters.
