Biography

David Louf, known as Mr June, is a Dutch mural artist who began writing graffiti in 1985 in the south of the Netherlands. Shaped by old-school hip-hop and breakdance culture, he went on to earn a Graphic Design degree from the Royal School of Arts (HKU), worked as an art director, and founded his own multidisciplinary studio "Out of Order" in Rotterdam before committing fully to street art.

His search for the perfect form led him to the hexagon and the cube — geometric building blocks he layers onto architectural facades to produce striking three-dimensional illusions. Working without sketches, the artist improvises in direct response to each wall and its surroundings. The approach has drawn commissions worldwide, including an Urban Nation facade in Berlin, a 130-foot dome in North Carolina and large-scale interventions in Miami, Denver and New York.

From Amsterdam and Rotterdam to Paris, London, Stockholm and Bristol, Mr June carries a vibrant geometric universe across continents. His practice weaves together graffiti, graphic design and fine art into a singular vision where typography, bold colour and optical depth turn urban surfaces into immersive visual experiences.
