Biography

Active on the streets of Montreal since the summer of 2016, Germ Dee quickly became one of the city's most prolific graffiti artists. A former designer, he turned to mural painting with a style he describes as "visionary bootlegs" — personal reinterpretations of pop culture characters. His spray-painted works appear across multiple neighbourhoods, from the Plateau and Hochelaga to Rosemont and Saint-Henri, on walls, garage doors, and abandoned buildings.

The artist is a regular presence at Montreal's major urban art events, including the Mural Festival and Under Pressure, as well as Montreal En Arts and the Estival de Cannes. His collaborations with local artists such as Jest, Mono Sourcil, and Chris Dyer reflect his deep ties to the city's graffiti community.
