Biography
Born in Mesagne, in the province of Brindisi, in 1979, Francesco Camillo Giorgino adopted the name Millo — derived from his middle name Camillo, which he shared with his grandfather. After completing secondary school in his hometown, he moved to Pescara to study architecture, graduating with full marks. That training left a lasting imprint on his art: from 2010 onward, he began painting large-scale murals in which architecture serves as both backdrop and subject.
His murals, predominantly black and white with selective bursts of colour, depict childlike, endearing figures exploring intricate urban landscapes brimming with hidden details. Paper planes, cassettes, toys, and greenery emerge from imaginary cityscapes where illusion meets introspection. This distinctive approach has earned him invitations to street art festivals worldwide, from Vilnius and Heerlen to Montréal and beyond.
Now based in Valencia, Spain, the artist has painted murals in over twenty-five countries, spanning China, India, Argentina, and French Polynesia. His works are held in the permanent collections of the Urban Nation Museum in Berlin and the Straat Museum in Amsterdam. He has shown in solo exhibitions at the Dorothy Circus Gallery and at the Wynwood Walls in Miami.
