Biography
Born in 1975 in France, Dino Voodoo discovered graffiti in 1990 before studying graphic design in Nantes. Based in Rennes, he has spent over thirty years working as an independent illustrator, graphic designer and muralist, building a visual language rooted in science fiction, ancient civilisations and retro-futurism.
His work is defined by bold geometric compositions in which triangles, circles and squares form surrealist settings, recalling constructivism and geometric abstraction. Influenced by Bauhaus, Dada and poster art, the artist draws viewers into cosmic, initiatory journeys through space and time, using palettes of blue, red, green, black and white.
Active across Brittany, he has painted murals in Vannes, Nantes, Cognac and Paris, where he took over Le MUR Oberkampf. In 2016, he was invited to China by Seth for the Back to School project, painting a mural in a Shanghai school. He regularly collaborates with production company Quai 36 and takes part in festivals such as Teenage Kicks and Dédale.
