Biography
Born in 1977, Kan began painting as a teenager on the streets of Avignon before moving to Paris, where he immersed himself in urban culture and joined the Da Mental Vaporz collective alongside Bom.k, Brusk, Sowat, Jaw, and Iso. A parallel career in motion design fed his artistic practice with a sensitivity to pixels and digital imagery.
The artist developed a distinctive technique he calls street pointillism: thousands of colored dots and halftone screens that appear as near-abstract constellations up close, yet resolve into detailed portraits and scenes when viewed from a distance. This fusion of traditional graffiti and digital language forms his signature, exploring the boundary between analog perception and digital aesthetics.
Active on the international stage — from the Dubai Street Museum to festivals in Grenoble, Dax, and Lyon — he exhibits regularly in galleries, notably with Galerie Prazowski at the Urban Art Fair. His work has graced the cover of Graffiti Art Magazine and was the subject of a retrospective at Spacejunk Lyon in 2025.
