Biography
Miguel Ángel Belinchón Bujes, known as Belin, is a Spanish artist born in 1979 in Linares, Andalusia. Painting walls since 2001, he quickly emerged as one of Europe's most accomplished spray-can hyperrealists, working entirely freehand — without stencils, grids or projectors. His photorealistic portraits earned him international recognition during the 2000s and established a benchmark for technical mastery in graffiti.
After years devoted to realistic portraiture, the artist developed his own visual language, which he named "Post Neo-Cubism" — a tribute to Pablo Picasso blending cubist fragmentation with hyperrealistic detail. The resulting fractured faces, where geometric planes intersect lifelike skin and gaze, opened the doors of museums, galleries and festivals across the world. Notable collaborations include brands such as Dockers and Carhartt, as well as tattoo artist Kat Von D.
