Biography
Short79, sometimes credited simply as Short, is a French artist based in Grenoble. Trained as a painter and graphic designer, he has developed since the 2000s a graffiti practice in which lettering meets ornamental composition, mostly in a palette of blue-green tones and organic patterns.
A co-founder of the WorkSpray studio with Nesta, the artist is a regular partner of the duo within the Street Art Fest Grenoble-Alpes. Together they have signed several monumental works across the Grenoble metropolitan area, including "Ubi Sum Ibi Moveo" on the Maison des Associations façade in 2016, now a landmark of the city's urban art landscape.
