On large metal panels at the Parc de Maulny in Le Mans, Ador stages a comical and anthropomorphic sheep with arms raised facing an army of massive, identical horses with fixed eyes. The absurd humor and social critique — the individual facing the conformism of the herd — are treated with the round, expressive line characteristic of Ador. The two stylistic registers, naïve and dark, reinforce the thematic contrast.
