Where to find street art in Saint-Brieuc (France)

The street art scene in this Breton prefecture emerged in 2018 when local graffiti artist Bertrand Keravis, known as Brinks and a member of the TSF Crew, founded the Just Do Paint festival. Having spent fifteen years on the international graffiti circuit, he set out to put his hometown on the urban art map. The initiative quickly gained momentum, attracting dozens of national and international artists who began covering blank facades across the city centre with large-scale murals.

A 1.5-kilometre walking trail mapped by the tourism office guides visitors through the main concentration of works in the historic centre. Rue Fardel features pieces by Cart One and Nora Simon, while Place haute du Chai displays a monumental work by Dutch artist Gomad. Further murals line Rue Jouallan, Place de la Madeleine, and Rue Mireille Chrysostome, bringing the total to over 40 pieces created using spray paint, acrylics, and collage techniques.

Since 2018, more than 70 artists have contributed to the city's outdoor gallery, including Hopare, Guy Denning, Milouz, Sema Lao, and South African artist Mister Copy. Each edition of Just Do Paint pairs mural creation with guided heritage walks linking local history to contemporary art. Graffiti workshops and exhibitions round out the programme, establishing Saint-Brieuc as a growing hub for mural art in Brittany.
