Andreas von Chrzanowski (a.k.a. CASE or CASE Maclaim) was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1979 and grew up in East Germany.

He went on to study at the University of Applied Sciences in Erfurt and graduated with a degree in Restoration. It was in 1999 that Andreas von Chrzanowski's story as a street artist really began. In 2000 he founded the "Maclaim Crew". The artists are AKUT, TASSO and RUSK. This group of talented young artists is making a name for themselves by producing some of the best photo-realistic paintings in the global street art scene.

CASE has traveled to over twenty countries. His work speaks a universal language.

Considered a pioneer of "photorealism", he works primarily with spray paint. This technique allows him to get the most out of his imagery and to achieve an unparalleled level of perfection. In his work, the figurative subject impresses with its perfect technical execution. This enhances the high narrative value of the "staging".
