Amanda Arrou-tea (aka Mandi Oh) was born in the coastal city of San Sebastián, in the Basque Country, located in the northern part of Spain.

Since her early years, she has felt a profound connection with mermaids, wholeheartedly believing in their existence. This led her to embark on a quest to find her female clan in every sea, river, and pool.

As a deep Cancerian, Amanda began expressing her emotions through oil paint at the tender age of 9.

Driven by her passion for the arts, she pursued studies in Fine Arts, seizing opportunities to attend various universities through Erasmus and Seneca scholarships in Spain and France. These experiences broadened her perspectives on painting, photography, and video.

Following the completion of her Fine Arts degree, Amanda's thirst for knowledge led her to Mexico, strategically close to the cenotes where she had first encountered a mermaid a few years earlier.

Several years of immersion in mystical energies, paint, sea salt, further studies, curatorships, scorching weather, and more paint fueled her decision to relocate to Berlin, Germany. This move marked a definitive commitment to her artistic career.

Currently residing in Berlin, Amanda operates from her studio and travels to execute artistic projects.
