Jokolor, born from the fusion of the childhood nickname "Jok" and "Kolor," began painting on walls in 1998. His artistic approach evolved towards participatory projects and collective murals from 2005-2006. Self-taught, he learned to paint with children and youth, emphasizing collaboration and participation. His work focuses on color, emotion, and the importance of the collective creative process. Commissions from cities, communities, and various entities in France and abroad manifest in murals, exhibitions, and artistic projects.

In 2012, Jokolor launched the itinerant project "Tour de France en couleurs," centered on shared artistic creation and itinerancy. This project allowed him to create numerous collective murals across the country. The essence of his work lies in social connection, spontaneity, and creativity. Collaboration is the core of his work, with active participation from the public. Prioritizing encounters, Jokolor has involved over 36,000 people in his creations over the past 15 years.
