Moreje commemorates Jean Jaures — the great socialist and pacifist tribune of the Third Republic — in this Parisian wall mosaic: a profile portrait of the solid bearded man, surrounded by a frame of colored tiles mixing red, white, black and grey. The dedication plaque at the bottom signs the artist's tribute to this figure of French socialism.
