Born in 1980 in Tel Aviv, Dede — known as Dede Bandaid — began doing graffiti at thirteen, spray-painting a map of the Milky Way on his school walls. After four years of service in the Israeli Air Force, he took to the streets of Tel Aviv in 2006, seeking a visual outlet for the trauma he had experienced.
