On the facade of a Haussmann building on Avenue de Wagram in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, Invader incrusted a tile mosaic depicting one of his pixelated aliens in blue, white and green, framed in green. This piece, larger than many of his Parisian invasions, illustrates the subtlety of Invader's approach: discreetly colonizing urban architectural heritage with the aesthetic codes of retro video gaming.
