On the raw concrete of a wall at the Parc de Maulny in Le Mans, WEN2 depicts a floating and fragmented industrial city: containers, precarious buildings, metallic structures and walkways assemble into a dystopian city in grey, blue and ochre tones. The very detailed rendering of each architectural element on a concrete background creates a troubling illusion of depth and reality. This post-industrial vision questions our relationship to urban space and habitat.
