Artist Lasco continues his prehistoric series with this large spotted brown and white aurochs, with long curved horns and firmly planted hooves, accompanied by Palaeolithic symbols and a small deer. The precision of the anatomical detail and the rendering of spots on the coat show an in-depth study of the Lascaux paintings. This work is part of Lasco's coherent cycle of urban reinterpretations of cave paintings in Clermont-Ferrand.
