Birdy Kids was born in 1989 on the ring roads of Lyon, when graffiti writer Stéphane — known as Knar — began painting small, round birds on the city's walls. In 2007, Guillaume and Gautier joined him to form a three-person collective, giving the character "Birdy" — orange beak, pink tongue, bouncing silhouette — the wings to travel far beyond Lyon's railway lines.
