In a volcanic stone arch in Clermont-Ferrand, artist Lasco recreates a cave painting scene inspired by the Lascaux grotto: horses, bison and deer in movement are painted in black on a grey-white background, faithfully reproducing the aesthetics of prehistoric frescoes. The precision of the animal silhouettes and their integration into the arch create a particularly evocative archaeological staging. The work constitutes a vibrant tribute to France's Palaeolithic heritage.
